The contestants must tap into their traditional cooking skills when they're asked to show their mastery of French cuisine, and as if that's not stress enough tonight's judges are some of the biggest names in the industry: Daniel Boulud, Hubert Keller, Joel Robuchon and Jean Joho.
The remaining contestants try to serve the 300 pilots and crew from the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron based at Nellis AFB with the same Pride, Precision and Professionalism on deck that the Thunderbirds show in the air. Guest judege: Mark Peel.
The men take on the women tonight as they prepare competing events for a bachelor and bachelorette, but first up is a QuickFire with a very appropriate reward for the town in which it's located. Guest judge: Todd English.
It's viva Las Vegas when 17 fresh chefs infiltrate the gambling mecca to compete in culinary challenges in the Season 6 opener. Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons and Toby Young return in their series roles.
The final three chefs are challenged to create a meal from memory of their past, before the winner of Season 1 is announced.
All eyes are on the remaining four food fighters when they whip up meals while blindfolded. Afterward, the chefs' teaching and leadership talents are put to the test when they cater an event. The catch: They are forbidden to handle the food.
The remaining five chefs will be showing us the beef as they cook up some burgers. Later, actress Zooey Deschanel hosts a celebrity event in which the chefs will be serving the lunch fare
The six winning chefs advance to the first installment of the Champions Round, where they must whip up their signature dishes. In a culinary twist, they then re-create their competitors' distinctive meals.
Chef's Roy Yamaguchi, Art Smith, Michael Cimarusti and Jonathan Waxman take on a grocery-store challenge known as "Aisle Trial." Later, the chef's will be cooking a meal using only the items from a mystery box.
